Preventest Nexus

“THE IN-SITU TESTING SOLUTION FOR RE-CERTIFICATION OF PRESSURE RELIEF VALVES"

The PREVENTEST NEXUS is an Auxiliary Lift Assist Device (ALAD)

The PREVENTEST NEXUS is an Auxiliary Lift Assist Device (ALAD), developed to make in-situ testing of spring-operated Pressure Relief Valves (PRVs) simpler, smarter and more efficient. It allows testing of virtually any type and size of PRV under normal operating conditions – whether the medium is steam, gas or liquid.

Following ASME’s Performance Test Code (PTC) 25, this method provides a safe and reliable alternative to traditional bench testing. The big advantage: PRVs can be functionally tested without removal, as long as the procedure is done correctly and with the right equipment. ASME Section XIII supports this methode by defining the requirements for safe and compliant in-situ testing of PRVs.

The PREVENTEST NEXUS re-shapes Pressure Relief Valve re-certification:

No plant shutdown needed.
Significant cost savings.
Targeted maintenance.
Accessible for hard-to-reach valves.
Testing under real process conditions.
Faster on-site turnaround.
Compliance and documentation support.

Designed with the operator in mind

At its core, the PREVENTEST NEXUS is powered by a robust software and database system preloaded with over 4,000 seat sizes from the world’s leading Pressure Relief and Safety Valve manufacturers.

Ergonomic & lightweight: Built to reduce operator fatigue during intensive field work and testing procedures.

Ready for the toughest conditions: Fully off-grid capable, perfect for remote or hazardous environments.

Effortlessly intuitive: A user-friendly interface that requires minimal training, so your team can get started faster.

Truly global: The software supports multiple languages, enabling smooth operation for international teams.

Built for safety: ATEX application pending, enabling use in explosive or volatile zones.
